Drawing on over eighteen years of experience, Dawn enjoys an interest in structural Osteopathy focusing on the general biodynamics of sports, lifestyle and occupational postures. The focus is on the individual patient advising them on their unique mechanics, posture, ergonomics, exercise regimes and coping strategies. The aim being to improve adaptability and promote optimal healing. Dawn has experience in treating sports injuries and works closely with other local and London-based sports doctors and specialists. She also has an interest in treating pregnant women and new mothers, often seeing patients who need help in adapting to the postural and hormonal changes during and after pregnancy and with the mechanical demands of a new born baby.
As is the case for all osteopaths, there is a thirty hour annual requirement for continual professional development. Dawn has invested time particularly in, but not limited to, advanced spinal manipulation, fascial and structural techniques, sports injuries, lumbar spine disc injuries, shoulder injuries, neck pain and headaches.
