Neuro Physiotherapy

Neuro Physiotherapy is the treatment of individuals who have neurological impairments from a variety of conditions, as listed below. A Neurological Physiotherapist has an in depth knowledge of neurological conditions and an understanding of how these conditions affect the individual’s ability to move independently.

Sports Massage

In the 18th & 19th centuries massage became popular in Europe with Swedish Massage under the influence of Per Henrik Ling . Captain Cook recorded how massage he received in Tahiti cured his sciatic pain and massage was used extensively in World War I for shell-shock and nerve injury. It was the foundation of what is now known as Physiotherapy.

Reflexology

In today's fast paced world it's easy to neglect your health. Everyday worries and frustrations can take their toll on your health and well-being and it is thought that around 75% of all illnesses are stress-related. Reflexology is a wonderfully relaxing complementary therapy.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a natural form of medicine developed nearly 200 years ago by a German physician, Dr Samuel Hahnemann, using the principles of 'like cures like' discovered by Hippocrates, the father of medicine, 2000 years ago.

Osteopathy

Clinical Psychology

Clinical Psychologists have usually completed a 3-year undergraduate Psychology degree, followed by relevant clinical or research experience and a 3-year postgraduate training programme. The aim of the postgraduate training is to equip Clinical Psychologists with specialist clinical knowledge and therapeutic skills to work with children and adults across the life-span.

Dietetics

Dietitians are uniquely qualified to help translate scientific information into practical dietary advice. As well as providing impartial advice about nutrition and health, dietitians are trained to understand your medical condition and the nutritional requirements that are needed to treat disease and ill health.
